Why Support BFS?

Our sole purpose is to resource, develop and enhance Christian ministry.

BFS seeks client funds to support the development of Christian ministry. This has proven to be a wonderful encouragement to many Churches and other Christian ministries by providing the resources needed to fund their development and expansion. In doing this, BFS seeks to provide support and understanding to churches and organisations operating in an environment that contines to become more complex.

“BFS's ministry flows from an underlying awareness that Christians are called to live in unity in purpose, practice and promise.

Paul’s words to the Ephesian church make this clear when he speaks of the glorious hope that belongs to those who through the exercise of one faith and one baptism serve the one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all. (refer Eph 4:4 & 5 NLT).

How wonderfully this is expressed and how great is the blessing when ministry opportunities in one place are able to be seized through BFS loaning funds lodged with it by clients living in another!”

- Allan Priest, BFS Director & Past President of the Baptist Churches of SA
