Baptist Financial Services (BFS) - formerly Baptist Investments and Finance (BIF) - has provided financial solutions for the development of Christian ministry across Australia and has been operating for over 25 years.
BFS is incorporated as a public company, limited by guarantee, operating throughout Australia BFS is a charity endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as an Income Tax Exempt charitable institution. The company is also a charity within the meaning of Regulatory Guide 87 and Class Order 02/184 issued by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) which regulates the provision of financial services.
BFS is the holder of an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFS Licence Number 311 062) issued by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission, which requires the company to meet a range of compliance and risk management conditions.
Client funds lodged with BFS may be used for loans to Churches, Church organisations, charities and other Christian ministries or applied together with other cash and liquid investments which meet the terms of the Trustee Act 1925 (NSW).

Through good stewardship and responsible management of client funds we provide loans to Churches, schools, aged care and community services to develop their ministries and to help them to build or purchase properties, and repair and upgrade their facilities. We also provide a wide range of savings, term investments and transactional products for our client's financial needs.

Why Support BFS ?

BFS seeks client funds from the Australian Baptist community to support the development of Christian ministry through the provision of relevant financial products. This has proven to be a wonderful encouragement to many Baptist and other Christian ministries by providing the resources needed to fund their development and expansion. In doing this, BFS seeks to provide support and understanding to churches and organisations that are looking for financial solutions in a complex commercial environment.
