About BFS

Baptist Financial Services Australia Ltd (BFS) is an Australian Baptist Ministry providing financial services for the Baptist Unions of NSW/ACT, VIC/TAS, SA/NT & WA.  The Company was established in 1984 and now has total assets exceeding $425 million. BFS operates a registered charitable investment scheme regulated with an AFS Licence to provide an opportunity for the raising of funds to resource Baptist and other Christian ministries.

BFS is a public company limited by guarantee incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001, has been endorsed as an income Tax Exempt Charitable Entity, and is a Charity registered with the Australian Not-for-profits Charities Commission for the purpose of Advancing Religion. BFS is controlled by a Board of up to twelve (12) Directors, each appointed for a term of up to three (3) years.

Employment is in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Banking, Finance and Insurance Award 2010, a Modern Award under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Classification B4, Level 4) and the National Employment Standards.

Compliance Officer (AML)

We are currently looking to fill the role of Compliance Officer (AML) in our Sydney office.
Applicants must be permanent residents of Australia.

Primary purpose of position: The Management of BFS AML/CTF and other relevant regulatory obligations.

Client Services Officer

BFS is currently looking to fill the role of Client Services Officer in our Sydney office.  The role of Client Services Officer is vital to the Client Service Team to ensure that the BFS continues to provide outstanding service to all clients throughout Australia.
